Grand Theft Auto VI is already one of the most anticipated gaming releases, and now PlayStation and Rockstar Games are taking the hype beyond the game itself with a new GTA VI Limited-Edition DualSense Wireless Controller collection. The collection is inspired by the colourful world of Vice City and Leonida, bringing that Miami-style atmosphere directly to the PS5. Instead of releasing just one controller, the collection comes in two different editions.
The Black Edition takes inspiration from Vice City after dark, while the White Edition goes for a brighter look inspired by the city's coastal side and daytime atmosphere. Both controllers feature a special colour-shifting finish that changes between shades of purple, blue and pink depending on the light.
There are also plenty of GTA-inspired details throughout the design. The grips feature custom palm-tree textures, the face buttons come in bright pink, and the touchpad carries the Roman numeral “VI” branding.
Of course, these are still standard DualSense controllers at their core, meaning players get PlayStation's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. The GTA VI design simply gives the controller a much more collectible feel, especially for fans planning to spend plenty of time exploring Vice City.
At $84.99 USD, the controllers sit slightly above the standard DualSense price, but the limited-edition design and connection to GTA VI could make them popular with both gamers and collectors.
Pre-orders are set to open on September 10, 2026, through PlayStation Direct and selected retailers, with shipping planned for November 19, 2026, alongside the game's global release.
Two editions, a colour-shifting finish and details inspired directly by Vice City make this one of the more interesting gaming hardware collaborations connected to GTA VI.
