Neymar Jr. x Puma x KidSuper:The World Cup Boot That Tells Neymar's Whole Story

Neymar Jr. x Puma x KidSuper Future 9 World Cup 2026: The Boot Built Around a Phoenix

In a World Cup full of pink boots,Neymar Jr. just went yellow and green.

Puma and streetwear designer KidSuper have teamed up to create a special edition Future 9 boot for Neymar ahead of Brazil's knockout stage campaign at the 2026 World Cup.The boot drops tomorrow,June 26, on Puma.com.

The design centres around one symbol:the phoenix. A bird that burns, falls, and rises again. For Neymar, 34 years old, returning from a Grade 2 calf injury at what could be his final World Cup, the symbolism does not need much explaining.

KidSuper, who built the entire concept around Neymar's personal story and Brazil's football identity, hand-delivered the boots to Neymar at Brazil's training camp at Columbia Park in Morris Township,New Jersey. Dillane described the moment simply: Neymar is one of his heroes, and the two are roughly the same age, which made the whole project feel personal rather than commercial.

The yellow base runs across the entire upper, pulling directly from Brazil's national colours.Orange hand-drawn phoenix graphics stretch across the forefoot, with green detailing around the heel and collar.Inside, the sockliner carries an illustration inspired by Neymar's Brazilian boy tattoo, featuring a football pitch, a house, and the World Cup trophy a visual map of his journey from childhood in São Paulo to the biggest stage in world football.

Limited edition. Once it sells out, it is gone.

This is not just Neymar wearing a Puma boot. It is Puma bringing in KidSuper, a Brooklyn-based streetwear label that has collaborated with Paris Saint-Germain, the NFL, and New Balance, to design something that lives between performance football and street culture.

It is the same territory the Ronaldo x Nike Gold Superfly played in earlier this week. A World Cup boot built not just for the pitch but for the culture around it. At $300, sitting alongside the Ronaldo Nike boot at exactly the same price point, this collab is clearly positioning itself as the statement boot of the tournament from the Puma side.
